Spoon River NAVHDA Chapter

Following along with John's advice under April Training Birds I'm going to start a post on what people want to work on for the training day so others could kind of plan to link up and work in small groups possibly.

I have a 15 week pup and my plans are to work in the puppy field with some homing pigeons.  My goal is to get him introduced to birds. 

I am planning to do some work in the pond at Don's, with bumpers only. 

Otherwise, I will be availble to help wherever I am needed.  I'll have bird harnesses and bumpers.

I have a 1yr old GLP that I will be running in the upcoming NA test.

I would like to do a pheasant track, and work on steadiness with a couple pigeons, and if time permits do a quick search, and throw a couple bumpers in the pond.

Will there still

be training on Sat, April 24th if it is raining?   Will the field roads be OK with all the rain from Fri, poss Sat too?
