Junes training day is set for Sat the 26th. It will most likely be warm, so make plans ahead of time!! Plan to meet your training partners and get started in the fields EARLY to beat the heat. Then we can move onto water work as the temps start to rise.
Don is just starting his brooders. He most likely will not have birds available. To supplement, I will take pre arranged orders for pigeons $3 each and mallard ducks $10 each. The ducks are coming from across state so I need orders as soon as you can. If you have a friend, training partner that does not correspond via e-mail (computer) please see if they will need birds. My cell# is 1-309-241-0784. or just respond back here.
Don is missing some of his crates, and has mentioned that his homing pigeons are being hit so hard that they are not returning. Wecan not risk the chance of upsetting him. So we need to figure out a better system for using his equiptment and homing pigeons. Untill we set a standard guideline, please plan to rent his birds for at least a $1 fee and possibly put a deposit on crates. We might have to impliment a sign out sheet on borrowed equiptment. I dont take this lightly, as Don has been good to me and this Chapter for many years now. If anyone knows what might of happened to 3 of his nice plastic bird haulers (over test week) please notify Don or myself. | |

can members from other chapters attend your training days? I am interested in the possibility of attending and meeting some of your chapter... if it is allowed please let me know and maybe a few details... | |

This will be my first training day. Is anyone else going to have a pup with them that wants to partner up for intro to birds? Looking forward to meeting everyone. | |
