WELL, I HOPE NOT. BUT I AM CURIOUS AS TO WHAT ANYONE ELSES OPINION IS ON THIER TRAETMENT AND PREVENTION OF INTESTINAL WORMS.

I CURRENTLY HAVE BEEN GIVING MY DOGS IVERMEC (1/2 cc.)  EVERY MONTH FOR HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVE. THEY ARE ON CLEAN CEMENT. MY VET TOLD ME THAT THAT DOSE WILL TAKE CARE OF MOST ANY AND ALL WORMS (ALSO INTESTINAL) FOR OUR REGION. HOWEVER, I DO NOT FEEL AS IF THEY KEEP WEIGHT ON AS EASILY AS SOME OTHER PEOPLES DOGS I TALK TO. MOST SAY THEY FEED 3-4 CUPS PRO-PLAN DAILY, I HAVE TO FEED AT LEAST 5 CUPS. I ALSO MIGHT ADD THAT I ROAD/WORK/TRAIN ON A ROUTINE SCHEDULE. THAT INFLUENCES IT SOME. BUT STILL..... IVE HAD TO SWITCH TO DIAMOND EXTREME ATHLETE WITH 3Xs THE CALORIES TO PUT AND KEEP WEIGHT ON THESE DOGS.

SHOULD I STILL BE WORMING AT LEAST YEARLY? OR EVEN MORE? WHAT DO YOU DO, AND WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?  HAS ANYONE TRIED THE PASTE FROM THE FARM SUPPLY STORE? GIVE ME DETAILS.

Ivermectin should keep the dogs clean.  I used the paste when I had horses.  Fine for them.  Don't know about the dogs.

As high energy as your dogs are, they may require more food to maintain, along with your exercise schedule.  Which Pro plan were you feeding?  Maybe the Performace Pro Plan at 4 cups would suffice.

Ive read some threads on other sites about guys using the Horse paste. It contains Ivermectin for heartworms and Fenbendazole for intestinal worms. They all give 1/2 a click per dog per month. Is anyone else using this product?
