I think the consensus is for us to postpone the July 23 training day until the following Saturday (weather dependent).  I will try to send out a follow up email next week to see who might be able to attend, or you can let us know here on the website.

Thanks,

Anyone interested in birds please let me know here, or give me a call. I should have Pigeons,$3.50, and a few Chukar (only if Don has none) $7 each. Ducks are hard to get but I may have a few.

I will also make myself available for a short time if anyone needs assistence on steadyness, retreiving or anything else test/training related.

For anyone who wants to train this coming Saturday (July 30) at Don's/Banner:  we will be starting at 5:30a to avoid the heat.  Meeting at Don's.  Try my cell if you will be later.  Starting in the field and ending at the water.  We'll try to get things wrapped up before noon for heat's/dogs sake.  Let John or I know if you want any birds ASAP and if you'll be attending and what you'd like to accomplish.  Take care.

Training day was a very small group- but very productive. Shae, John Sheryl and Terry all did field work and worked on steadyness. They all did great!! Even Duncan who has not beem out since last year was holding birds after a few precautions on checkcord. Terrys dog just needs a little more encouragement in the duck search and he will have a prize1 dog ready for Invitational 2012!!!!

We went to water and everyone accomplished what they wanted. Thanks to all for the help training Sophie and me for the big test!!
