I would first like to congradulate our chapter for the placement of prize 1 utility test dogs, and Invitational Qaulifiers for the 2012 test in IowaSpring test, DJ Wyss, Jay Wade, and Terry Postin, and Rob Daniels all qualified in the Fall. Great Job and what a testiment to the knowledge that has sprung forth in our chapter.

I was pondering the thought of how great it would be if some our Chapter went to Iowa to support this landmark event. I also thought it would be a very kind gesture to volunteer some time working the test. They are always short on help. This is a good opportunity to carpool with a friend, split gas, hotel, work, watch and learn the Invitational test.

I KNOW I am going to watch and Volunteer. If anyone is interested, please feel fre to converse with me on details.

GO TEAM SPOON RIVER!!!!!!!!

I am going as well.  I have someone testing my dog Blitz.  Will be taking the camper and may have some space if someone is looking for a place to stay.

Congratulations Rob!

What a fantastic showing by Spoon River this year.  5 dogs qualified for the Invitational (John Sondag had requalified in the Spring as well, but since they passed the Inv in Sept, won't be going again).

I intend to bring this up next week at the annual meeting, but with 4 dogs probably heading for Iowa in September (assuming all who qualified will be running) It might be a good idea to set special training days just for the Invitational.  Others would be welcome to come with their UT dogs, but all training would be focused on the Inv.  The location would move around to provide lots of different looks at situations.
