Spoon River NAVHDA Chapter

Serving Central Illinois North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association

Who We Are

The Spoon River Chapter of NAVHDA serves the southern portion of Central Illinois. We are a relativley newer club, with a variety of ages in our membership. We have a very energetic, active membership that is always willing to lend a helping hand. Our main goal during training days is to teach handlers how to train and handle a versatile hunting dog. We have many knowlegable members on hand and try to keep the group informed between training and meeting days by e-mailing, phone calls, or blogging on our site, and also get together between scheduled training days.

The Spoon River Chapter is a family oriented club. Please feel free to always involve your spouse and children in training or testing sessions. What a great way to start a family activity, and meet a lot of new friends.

If you are not a member of Spoon River NAVHDA yet, and would like to become one, please go to our NAVHDA Forms link, click on membership form, fill out and return with fees to:Adam Jaquet - Chapter Secretary, 173 E. 1950, Galva IL, 61434. You and your dog will be GLAD you did!
